3 Awesome Self-Care Exercises for Women – Simple and Sensual
The best self-care exercises for women must have an element of sensuality to them in order to be most effective.
As a woman, you are a sensual creature.
Sensuality will nurture your feminine soul. It will fill you up when you’re feeling emotionally down.
Have you suffered from body image issues, anxiety, not feeling good enough, or other disempowering ways of being?
A great way to take care of yourself is to include sensual self-care exercises. What I’m talking about is beyond the norm of what we think self-care is all about. If you want radical self-love you need to take radical action. Including knowing how to take care of yourself by understanding energy.
In this article, I’d like to share with you three self care exercises to bring more inner peace and balance into your life. Normal Self Care Exercises
Or you might think of self-care as taking a bath, taking yourself out to the movies, or buying yourself a nice outfit. These are all great things. However, there are other types of self-care exercises that go deeper and empower and awaken your authentic femininity. They are sensual in nature.
Sensual Self Care Exercises are NOT just…
- Developing good sleeping habits
- Taking your vitamins
- Exercising regularly
- Eating healthy
Sensual Self-care Exercises Are So Much More!
If you want to really learn how to take care of yourself and develop radical self-love then learn sensual self-care practices. What exactly does that mean? It’s having a physical and tactile relationship with your body. And not just a mental one. You literally become “in touch” with your body.
I’ve always dreamed of having a lover who was into me, my body, and giving me pleasure. Those types of lovers aren’t always so easy to find. They are definitely out there but so are selfish lovers.
And selfish lovers are detrimental to your self-esteem. You can easily feel taken advantage of and not cared for when you’re with a selfish lover.
It’s important to cultivate a sensual relationship with yourself. You’ll even increase your chances of attracting a lover that is more sensually nourishing to you when you do so. It’s because you’ve created that energy within yourself. I’ve seen this in my own life. As I deepened my relationship with my body the type of lover I attracted was enhanced. It’s like your body becomes a magnet to however you treat it.
If you touch your body and care for your body nicely,
you’ll attract a partner that will do the same.
Don’t underestimate the power of this previous statement.

1. Sensual Facial Self Care Exercise
I always longed for a man to sensually touch my face. I thought it would not only be romantic like you see in the movies, but it would also feel sensually exhilarating. Unfortunately… this longed for experience was lacking in my life. And for years! Not until I took charge and decided I’d start sensually touching my face. And why not!? If no one is going to do it to me, I can do it myself. Yes, I guess I could have asked for that but it never really came up. So I took matters into my own hands – literally.
The first time I did it, I thought, what an amazing experience.
I realized I’ll never get anyone to touch my face the way I touch my face. And really it didn’t matter. I finally got what I wanted.. the experience of having my face sensually touched. But what was amazing is that once I created that self-care exercise for myself it wasn’t much longer after that that I attracted a man that actually did it to me!
He softly caressed my face and made me melt in is arms. It was how he expressed his care for me. It was amazing. I had energetically drawn this behavior to me!
So enjoy this exercise. It’s in audio form and takes just under 11 minutes. It’s an important yet simple self-care exercise every woman should know about. And it could have some profoundly positive results for you!

2. Touch your body sensually
This is a wonderful exercise to supercharge your feminine soul and awaken your feminine radiance. And don’t let your head get in the way on this one. You’ll miss the bliss.
So many women see their bodies from their mind – “My hips are too big.”, “My breasts are too small.” Learn how to feel your body instead of thinking about your body.
No matter what age, shape or size you are…. you deserve pleasure. Your female body was designed for pleasure. And if you haven’t had great lovers it could be because you haven’t been a good lover to you.
How to do the exercise:
This exercise is super simple and best done in bed and fully naked but actually, you can do it anywhere. As long as it’s situation appropriate and/or you have the privacy you need. And you can do it fully naked, fully clothed or anywhere in between. You’ll get the best results of course when you are free to fully experience every inch of your skin.
This sensual self-care exercise is simply taking the time to touch your body. And I mean luxuriating in the feeling of touching your skin. See how it feels to gently touch your skin. Explore what types of touches you enjoy. Touch different parts of your body and see which areas bring you the most pleasure.
Your skin is the largest organ in your body. It’s your protective sheath. Touching your skin is a beautiful way to honor your whole body. This exercise also helps you to increase your sensual sensitivity. And your ability to receive touch.
Get used to touching your body. Observe any limiting belief systems that are getting in the way – possibly due to your religious upbringing. Maybe thinking you’re doing something bad or wrong. Your body needs love and connection just like most all sentient things. So don’t be afraid to take the time to touch your whole body and receive the pleasure this experience offers you.
Still, if you’re having a hard time with fully embracing this exercise, do it partially. Either pick a body part like your hand or arm or calf and give it a try. Or you can do it with clothes on and experience that. Touching your legs with yoga pants on is delightful. I just did it in my dance class an hour ago!
And remember, you might be pleasantly surprised how this activity changes what type of lover you attract into your life. Plus these exercises are the beginning of you having a positive relationship with your body.

3. Divine Feminine Self Soothing Practice
This is a powerful Taoist-based or QiGong-based practice. It is designed to not only nurture you but also support and energetically nourish your internal organs. According to Taoist principles, each organ holds a certain emotion – both the positive and negative expression of that emotion.
For example, the heart holds the emotions of anger and rage but it also holds the emotions of love and compassion. And you can transform the anger energy into compassion.
Through using your hands as elements of sending healing energy I guide you, similar to a guided meditation, through this practice. You are a bit active though because you will be consciously placing your hands on your body. And another great thing about this practice is that it doesn’t take more of your time. that’s because it’s a “bed practice.” You do this practice when you go to bed at night or when you wake up in the morning and aren’t quite ready to get up. It’s a great way to start or end your day. And if you’re having a hard time sleeping or feeling anxious this is a powerful practice to calm and relax you – centering you back into your body.
Here is an overview of the practice:
- Lie down on your back in bed.
- Rub your inner thighs stimulating the spleen, kidney and liver meridians.
- Rub your groin, ovaries and womb.
- Place your hands over your ovaries and feel the healing energy.
- Move to your heart and feel the healing energy.
- Place your hands over your lungs and feel.
- Then hold your breasts and feel the warmth of your healing hands.
- Put you hands over your stomach and continue to feel the healing energy.
- Lean to the left and place your right hand on your right kidney and your left hand on your liver – feel.
- Lean to the right and place your right hand on your spleen and your left hand on your left kidney – feel.
- Place both hands on your belly, one above the belly button and one below.
- Move your hands to your ovaries and womb.
- End by collecting the energy by circling around your belly and end by placing your hands just below your belly button.
This is a magical sequence and will make you feel totally relaxed. On a deeper level, it nourishes your organs and emotions. When you learn this you’ll experience the power of ancient feminine wisdom and the power of feminine energy that can deeply nurture yourself.
