[Self Empowerment] A Super Simple Exercise to Empower You
Why is self empowerment important? Women are so busy doing things for others. They are mothers, wives, career women and more. Life can get pretty complex at times. What can you do as a woman to stay in the present moment with all of these responsibilities and commitments? I have a simple exercise that will keep you connected to you and bring you back to the present moment.
How often do you touch your heart? How often do you take a breath and smell the roses so to speak? Women are the nurturers. When do you take time to nurture you? I’m not talking about a new haircut, manicure or facial. Those are all good, don’t get me wrong. I am just talking about taking a moment to really feel into your heart and reassure yourself that everything is ok.
As silly as that sounds, I believe women would benefit greatly from that statement and breathe that into their hearts and just let go and trust in the process… even when they believe everything is too much. Or even especially when they believe everything is too much. Because I want you to know your heart will empower you.
The Heart – Your Empowerment Tool
Did you know that your heart emits an electromagnetic field that is as much as ten times greater than the electromagnetic field that’s emitted from your head?
Heart Math Institute has performed extensive studies about the power of the heart.
Your heart has a divine intelligence. It is an intelligence that will heal. We have an expression, “she has a good head on her shoulders” but really what you need is access to your heart.
Is your heart shut down? Do you keep it guarded? When you learn to open your heart you will have the most powerful divine feminine tool available to you. So check out this exercise and do it often.
This Self Empowerment Exercise is Nurturing to Your Soul
Just take a moment and place your hands on that area just above your heart. It is the area of your thymus which is the master gland of your immune system. The immune system is our defense system that keeps invading bacteria and viruses out and on another level just plain keeps our defenses up and keeps us protected.
So we want to acknowledge our thymus for all of it’s hard work, day in and day out. Place your hands, one on top of the other, over your thymus and feel the warmth of your hands sending healing energy into your thymus. Take a moment to breathe deeply into that master gland and really acknowleding it. This may sound silly however your thymus will absolutely love you taking time out to give it warmth. It doesn’t take long and if you do this and it is habit forming… what a great habit.
They thymus is part of the endocrine sytsem and the endocrine system is part of what keeps our hormones balanced and working at optimal levels. Hormones are huge in keeping us healthy emotionally. So when I coach women, spiritual coaching of women… this is one tool that they can’t do without. Treat your thymus with tender loving care and you will see how much feminine strength you will develop.
